Internet celebrity Boss Toyo, also known as Jayson Jay Luzadas, successfully bid for and won the first PBA Most Valuable Player trophy of San Miguel Beermen superstar June Mar Fajardo during an auction organized by the Alagang Kapatid Foundation Inc. The event occurred at halftime of a PBA game at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Malate on December 19, where Boss Toyo proudly displayed the trophy at center court.

He acquired the prestigious hardware for P160,000, with all proceeds directed toward relief efforts in Cebu, Fajardo's home province, which was recently devastated by Typhoon Tino. Fajardo had voluntarily auctioned this MVP award to aid his hometown, demonstrating his commitment to charitable causes.

Upon learning about the auction, Boss Toyo, a devoted fan of Fajardo, immediately participated in the bidding to secure his idol's trophy. After winning, he expressed his joy during a brief ceremony, noting that he and his wife are big fans and he was determined to obtain it. Fajardo, present at the event along with PBA commissioner Willie Marcial, thanked Boss Toyo for his contribution, highlighting that the funds would assist many typhoon-affected residents.

Boss Toyo declared this trophy as his most precious PBA memorabilia, emphasizing that nothing in his collection surpasses it due to Fajardo's status as the PBA's Greatest of All Time. He is honored to now possess Fajardo's first MVP award, which he plans to cherish in his collection.
