The Indiana Fever are experiencing off-court developments following the end of the WNBA season, with the team anticipating Caitlin Clark's healthy return next season to boost their playoff and WNBA Finals prospects. Ahead of their potential reunion for the next WNBA season, Clark and Cunningham will participate in the LGPA Tour's Pro-Am event, The Annika at Pelican Golf Club, with Clark as a full participant and Cunningham serving as a guest caddie, alongside their teammate Lexie Hull.

Cunningham announced her involvement on Instagram with the word "FOUR!", which Clark humorously corrected to the golf term "fore" in a reshared post. On her podcast, Cunningham admitted she knows little about golf, expressed surprise at the invitation, and acknowledged her mistake in the social media post, highlighting the lighthearted nature of their interaction.

The event, formally known as The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, marks Clark's return after participating last year and is hosted by golf star Annika Sorenstam, featuring top women golfers and benefiting the ANNIKA Foundation.
