24-year-old Vincent Jordan created a rhythm and blues tribute song for LeBron James after the NBA star scored his historic 50,000th point on March 4. Despite struggling with lyrics, Jordan recorded a 20-minute track repeating "LeBron, LeBron, LeBron James" using layered harmonies, which unexpectedly went viral on TikTok with 6.7 million views and inspired a wave of fan-made "LeBronify" tribute songs.
LeBron James acknowledged the trend, revealing his son Bryce showed him one of the videos. The song’s popularity led to widespread engagement, including a humorous TikTok from LaVar Ball and creative fan edits, such as a bride walking down the aisle to the track. Jordan, an electrician student previously embarrassed by his musical posts, was surprised by the response, especially when his girlfriend and others embraced the catchy tune.
Due to fan demand, Jordan uploaded the song to Spotify and Apple Music, marking a surreal shift from deleting past musical attempts to becoming an internet sensation tied to basketball history.
