Arsenal beat Fulham to top Premier League after Man City down Everton

Arsenal secured a 1-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage, with Leandro Trossard scoring the only goal in the 58th minute, allowing Arsenal to reclaim the top spot in the Premier League above Manchester City.

Fulham, despite being on a three-match losing streak, dominated the first half, creating early chances through Raul Jimenez and Harry Wilson, while Arsenal struggled to test Fulham's goalkeeper Bernd Leno. Fulham continued to threaten, with Tom Cairney's effort from a corner being blocked, and Victor Gyokeres having a shot saved, but the first half ended with Declan Rice narrowly missing a long-range strike.

The breakthrough came when Gabriel headed Bukayo Saka's corner to the back post, where Trossard tapped in with his thigh. Saka nearly extended the lead with a low drive saved by Leno and had a penalty award overturned by VAR after Kevin was deemed to have played the ball first.

This result puts Arsenal three points clear at the top, though Liverpool could reduce the gap to one point with a win over Manchester United. Manchester City had temporarily led the table after a 2-0 win against Everton earlier in the day.
