Arsenal learn Champions League fate as they look to bounce back from PSG loss

Arsenal have discovered their Champions League opponents for the league phase. From pot one, they will host Bayern Munich and travel to face Inter Milan. Among pot two teams, they are set to host Atletico Madrid and play away against Club Brugge. From pot three, Arsenal will welcome Olympiacos at home and journey to the Czech Republic to take on Slavia Prague. In pot four, they host Kairat Almaty from Kazakhstan and will travel to play Athletic Bilbao.

Last season, Arsenal experienced a memorable campaign that included dominant victories over PSV and the elimination of champions Real Madrid. However, they fell short in the semi-finals against Paris Saint-Germain, who went on to win the tournament. Despite a 2-0 group stage win over PSG, Arsenal were unable to overcome them in the knockout rounds, losing 3-1 on aggregate.

The team has addressed key issues from last season by signing striker Viktor Gyokeres for £63.5 million and adding attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze.
