Bayern Munich are targeting Liverpool winger Luis Diaz as their top transfer priority to strengthen their left wing, but face significant obstacles as Liverpool have firmly indicated he is not for sale and will not entertain negotiations.
Should they fail to acquire Diaz, Bayern have identified Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard as an alternative candidate, according to reports from BILD. Trossard's recent switch to German agent Dirk Hebel in July is viewed as a potential advantage in facilitating any move.
Trossard, primarily a left winger, demonstrated versatility at Arsenal last season by frequently leading the attack, contributing 10 goals and 10 assists across 56 appearances in all competitions. Notably, 19 of these appearances were as a substitute.
With Trossard's contract expiring in June 2025, Arsenal may consider selling him now to avoid losing him at a reduced fee in January or for free next summer. The 30-year-old joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 and made an immediate impact, providing 10 assists in his first six months despite scoring just once.
