Chelsea Willing to Sell PSG Target for €40M Amid Man Utd, Inter Milan Inquiries

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly tracking Christopher Nkunku's situation at Chelsea, where the French forward has faced difficulties establishing himself since his £52 million transfer from RB Leipzig in 2023. Injuries and intense squad competition have limited his playing time, fueling uncertainty about his future.

Previous transfer interest emerged earlier this year, with PSG considering a move but ultimately declining, while Bayern Munich passed on a January deal. However, Bayern may re-enter negotiations during the current summer transfer window, according to reports.

Chelsea are open to selling Nkunku for an appropriate offer, hoping to recover a substantial part of their initial investment. The transfer is now widely viewed as a costly misstep, with L'Équipe indicating an expected fee between €35 million and €40 million this summer.

Bayern Munich remains interested and is among Nkunku's preferred destinations, though no formal talks have occurred yet. Manchester United and Inter Milan have recently made inquiries about the player, with Bayern currently prioritizing other targets.

Specifically, Manchester United have received a £35 million price quote for Nkunku, who features on their striker shortlist. Chelsea would accept a significant loss on the player, having paid £52 million for him just two years ago.
