College Football Playoff rankings schedule, release dates

The College Football Playoff (CFP) will release six weekly top 25 rankings during the 2025-26 season, with the final rankings scheduled for announcement on Sunday, December 7. All rankings will be broadcast on ESPN in Eastern Time.

In the previous season (2024), the final CFP rankings were revealed on December 8. Historically, Mississippi State became the first team to achieve the No. 1 ranking in the CFP when the system began in 2014.
