Jordan Miller Returns To the LA Clippers on Two-Way Deal

Jordan Miller has signed a new two-way contract with the Los Angeles Clippers. The former Miami Hurricanes standout continues to show promise, earning this deal following impressive performances in the Summer League, as reported by HoopsHype's Michael Scotto. Last season, the 6-foot-5 wing appeared in 37 games for the Clippers, averaging 4.1 points per game, while also excelling in the G-League.

Miller's strong showing in the Las Vegas Summer League solidified his return. He averaged 22.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, earning a spot on the All-Summer League First Team. Among players who participated in all five Summer League games, Miller led in scoring.

This signing comes after the Clippers waived Miller earlier in the summer to create roster space for the Bradley Beal trade with the Phoenix Suns. Despite the waiver, Miller is still viewed as a promising talent capable of contributing quality minutes after further development.

The Clippers see value in retaining Miller. While the team currently has a deep roster of wing players that Miller can learn from, the Clippers also possess one of the oldest rosters in the league. As the team will eventually need younger players to step up, Miller is positioned as a potential candidate to take on a larger role in the future.
