Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is expected to return from a hamstring injury for the team's Thursday game against the Miami Dolphins, as reported by Fox Sports' Jay Glazer. Jackson was held out of the Week 8 matchup with the Chicago Bears to ensure full recovery, especially with two games scheduled in four days.
Jackson has missed three consecutive games due to the injury, but he made progress by returning to practice leading up to the Bears game. ESPN's Adam Schefter had also previously indicated Jackson's anticipated return for the Dolphins game, supporting the optimism around his recovery.
The Ravens, currently holding a 1-5 record, face the risk of missing the playoffs for the first time since 2021 without Jackson. In his absence, Cooper Rush started at quarterback, while Tyler Huntley was set to play against the Bears in Week 8.
Prior to the injury in 2025, Jackson demonstrated strong performance, completing 71.6% of his passes for 869 yards, 10 touchdowns, and only one interception in his first four starts, along with 166 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground.
