Liverpool consider shock move for Premier League forward linked with Barcelona

Acquiring Diaz would require a significantly higher financial investment compared to Rashford, who could potentially join Barcelona on a loan deal.

However, Barcelona face competition for Rashford. Liverpool is also considering signing the Manchester United forward as they search for a new striker. While Newcastle United's Alexander Isak is Liverpool's top priority, the club's refusal to sell has led them to explore alternatives, including Rashford, though no progress has been made on that front yet.

Marcus Rashford is not part of Manchester United's plans for the future, and the club is actively looking to find a way for him to leave in the coming weeks.
