MPBL: Davao Occidental mounts winning run with 64-point beating of Imus

Davao Occidental delivered a dominant performance against Imus, securing a 132-68 victory in their MPBL game at Alonte Sports Arena on Friday. The 64-point margin highlighted a complete wire-to-wire triumph.

The Tigers established early control with a 30-13 first-quarter lead before exploding for 40 points in the second quarter to enter halftime ahead 70-34. They surpassed the 100-point mark by the end of the third quarter (100-50) and maintained their largest advantage of 64 points until the final buzzer.

Biboy Enguio and James Martinez led Davao Occidental's offense with 22 points each. This win marks the Tigers' second consecutive victory following a previous loss to Pasay.

Despite JR Sumido's game-high 34 points for Imus, the team fell to 0-4 in the standings. Kenneth Estabillo contributed 11 points and 13 rebounds in the losing effort.
