Arsenal 30yo set to leave this summer

Arsenal are interested in signing Eberechi Eze this summer, but the club is currently prioritizing moving players out before making new signings.

Among the players Arsenal are looking to sell are Reiss Nelson, Fabio Vieira, and Leandro Trossard. Nelson is in talks with Fulham, while Vieira is negotiating a move to Stuttgart. Trossard's potential departure, however, is more unexpected news.

Previous reports indicated a chance Trossard could leave, as negotiations over a contract extension have stalled throughout the summer. Although Arsenal initially held positive talks with Trossard's representatives, their contract offer remains unsigned, suggesting the player is now considering his options.

Currently, Trossard is recovering from a minor groin injury sustained during last week's pre-season match against Tottenham Hotspur. Manager Mikel Arteta stated the injury is minor and expects Trossard to be fit "in a few days," potentially available for the Premier League opener at Manchester United.

Despite his imminent return to fitness, it now appears increasingly likely that Trossard will not spend the entire 2025/26 season with Arsenal.
