Ballon d'Or 2025: PSG breaks a stunning Real Madrid record

France Football has announced the 30 nominees for the upcoming Ballon d'Or award, with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) achieving a significant milestone.

PSG has a record-breaking nine players named in the top 30 list: Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, João Neves, Fabián Ruiz, Warren Zaïre-Emery (Doué), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (Kvara), and Ousmane Dembélé. This represents almost their entire starting lineup and comes after a spectacular season for the club.

This number of nominees from a single club sets a new Ballon d'Or record, surpassing the previous record held by Real Madrid, who had eight nominees during their 2018 campaign.
