Basketballer almost killed in one-punch attack returns to NBL

Harry Froling has signed with the Illawarra Hawks as an injury replacement player in the National Basketball League (NBL).

This return follows his recovery from a devastating one-punch assault in 2023, which caused life-threatening bleeding on the brain.

Froling is set to join the team for pre-season training and will take to the court at the start of the 2025-26 season, reflecting on his past by stating he lived life "in the fast lane" the first time around.
