CAF Champions League: We must prove our worth against JSK - GoldStars coach Frimpong Manso

Bibiani GoldStars coach Frimpong Manso has emphasized the importance of thorough preparation for his team's upcoming CAF Champions League campaign. The Ghana Premier League champions have been drawn against Algerian club Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie (JSK) in the first preliminary round, which Manso described as a tough challenge given JSK's strength in the competition.

Manso stated that winning the league earned them this opportunity, and they must now prove they can compete at the continental level. The first leg will be hosted by GoldStars at Accra Sports Stadium on September 19, with the return leg in Algeria on September 26. Prior to these matches, GoldStars will participate in the 2025 GHALCA Top 4 tournament against domestic teams Asante Kotoko, Heart of Lions, and Hearts of Oak.
