Cheyenne Parker-Tyus, who has not played this WNBA season due to pregnancy, has been activated by the Las Vegas Aces. She is expected to play in the team's home finale against the Chicago Sky.
Parker-Tyus is an 11-year veteran who previously played for the Sky and Atlanta Dream, averaging 9.1 points and 5.1 rebounds over her career. She was an All-Star in 2023, achieving career highs of 15.0 points and 6.7 rebounds. Last season with Atlanta, she averaged 9.2 points and 4.8 rebounds in 25 games.
The 33-year-old signed with the Aces knowing she would miss nearly the entire season due to her pregnancy. She gave birth to her son, Yoshua, on July 1.
She joins the Aces for the final two games of their season. The team has won a franchise-record 14 consecutive games, tied for fourth best in WNBA history, and could enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed.
