Football fans are convinced they have identified the masked Premier League footballer featured in the new edition of the Baller League, a football competition that launched its second series recently.

The league includes celebrity managers such as the Lionesses' Chloe Kelly, YouTuber and Traitors star Niko Omilana, and former Premier League striker Daniel Sturridge, with Omilana announcing ahead of the season that his team would include a current Premier League player.

During the first match, the player was introduced specifically to take a free kick, leading to widespread speculation based on their stance and the fact that they seemed to be utilized only for set pieces, while wearing distinctive attire including long black leg warmers, a yellow body warmer, a black ski mask, and a batman-like mask over their eyes.

This has fueled theories among fans, with many pointing to James Ward-Prowse as the likely identity due to his reputation for set piece expertise, as observed in the player's performance and appearance.
