Nike and Sabrina Ionescu unveil the Sabrina 3

The Nike Sabrina 3 signature basketball shoe, designed for Sabrina Ionescu, is presented as lightweight, responsive, and secure, aiming to deliver the consistent performance and dependability associated with her footwear line. Building upon her first two signature models, the Sabrina 3 offers a refined feel while maintaining consistency for players globally, championing quality craftsmanship and reflecting Sabrina's personal story.

Sabrina Ionescu expresses her hope that the shoe inspires all players, especially young girls, to break down barriers and believe in themselves. She highlights personal design elements like the vertical Swoosh carried over from previous models. The debut colorway, "Blue Print," draws inspiration from textile weaving and embroidery reflecting her Romanian heritage.

Technically, the shoe features mesh pleats throughout the upper that define its style and house cables spanning the midfoot, enhancing containment, strength, and support. This new containment system pairs with the returning forefoot Air Zoom unit and Cushlon 3.0 midsole, providing the comfortable ride and court feel established in the Sabrina 1 and 2.

Lead designer Ben Nethongkome states the Sabrina 3 evolves the look and feel to match Sabrina's on-court needs and further reflect her personal story and style, building on the performance consistency that made her previous shoes popular worldwide. The goal is to help athletes feel faster, stronger, and more confident.

The Nike Sabrina 3 and an accompanying apparel collection will be available starting July 24 on nike.com and at select retail locations.
