The Chicago Sky shut out the noise and shut down the Connecticut Sun

The Chicago Sky secured a decisive 88-64 victory over the Connecticut Sun in their second-to-last home game of the season, aiming to finish the year on a positive note despite a challenging campaign. The team displayed strong cohesion on the court, unaffected by recent external distractions, including Angel Reese's public comments about the organization.

Chicago maintained control throughout the game, with Kamilla Cardoso leading the early charge by scoring the first three baskets and finishing with 16 points, five rebounds, and two assists while shooting 72.7% from the field. Angel Reese delivered an impressive performance, recording a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds, and actively contributing on both ends of the floor. Despite missing two three-point attempts, Reese emphasized her commitment to expanding her skills for the team's benefit.

Head coach Tyler Marsh praised Reese's adaptability and effort, noting her versatility in offensive and defensive roles. However, Reese will miss the next game due to a technical foul received in the second quarter.
