Valencia Basket has signed shooting guard Isaac Nogués to a contract that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2027. This marks Nogués' first move to the EuroLeague.
Nogués arrives as a free agent after playing the 2024-25 season with the Rip City Remix, the NBA G-League affiliate of the Portland Trail Blazers. During his time with the Remix, he played 40 games, averaging 2.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.1 steals. His defensive prowess earned him a spot on the NBA G-League All-Defensive Team, and he finished third in the voting for Defensive Player of the Year.
Prior to his G-League stint, Nogués is a product of the Joventut Badalona youth academy. He was part of their Spanish Junior Championship-winning roster in 2022. In his first senior year (2022-23), he played 25 games for Joventut Badalona's EBA team, averaging 6.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.8 steals. Following a gold medal win with Spain at the 2023 U19 World Championship (alongside future Valencia teammate Sergio De Larrea), he debuted in LEB Plata during the 2023-24 season with Lobe Huesca La Magia. There, he improved his performance, averaging 6.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 3.0 steals per game.
His move to the Rip City Remix for the 2024-25 season allowed him to showcase his abilities in the U.S. Development League, excelling defensively across perimeter positions and demonstrating strong playmaking. In the summer of 2025, he signed an Exhibit 10 contract with Portland and played one game for them in the Las Vegas Summer League against the Phoenix Suns.
