2 injured Arsenal players back training with the ball

Gabriel suffered a hamstring injury on April 1st which required surgery; it has now been just over three months since his operation, a recovery timeframe similar to previous hamstring injuries experienced by teammates Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz. In a behind-the-scenes video, Gabriel mentioned he would be back fit "soon".

Nelson also underwent surgery for a hamstring problem while on loan at Fulham. His operation occurred five months ago, suggesting he should be ready to return. However, Arsenal will exercise caution with the winger due to his history of previous injury setbacks.
