Borussia Dortmund secured a 4-2 victory over Copenhagen in the Champions League, with Jobe Bellingham making his first goal contribution since joining the club. Bellingham, who has struggled for playing time in the Bundesliga after his £27m move from Sunderland, set up Felix Nmecha's opening goal in the 20th minute with a pass that Nmecha converted from the edge of the penalty area.
Copenhagen equalized in unusual circumstances when Gregor Kobel saved a low strike from a corner, but Ramy Bensebaini's attempted clearance deflected off teammate Waldemar Anton and into the net. Bensebaini later redeemed himself by scoring a penalty in the 61st minute after Serhou Guirassy was fouled in the area. Nmecha added his second goal in the 76th minute with a deflected shot that wrong-footed the Copenhagen goalkeeper, and Fabio Silva scored a late fourth goal for Dortmund, while Viktor Dadason netted a consolation header for Copenhagen.
With this result, Dortmund now have seven points after three Champions League games and are set to face Manchester City on 5 November, whereas Copenhagen remain winless after draws and losses in their previous matches. The match highlights are available for viewing on BBC platforms from 22:00 on Wednesday.
