FC Goa will host Oman's Al-Seeb Club in the preliminary stage of the AFC Champions League Two 2025-26 tournament. The match takes place on Wednesday at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa, starting at 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).
This marks FC Goa's return to continental competition for the first time since 2021. They earned their place by winning the 2025 Super Cup title. Their last continental appearance was in the 2021-22 AFC Champions League group stage, where they finished third and did not advance.
The AFC Champions League Two is Asia's second-tier club tournament, organized by the AFC. The preliminary stage match is a single knockout fixture, with the winner progressing directly to the group stage.
FC Goa will be managed by Manolo Marquez, who recently left his position as head coach of the Indian national team. Their squad includes new signings defender Pol Moreno, midfielder David Timor, and forward Javier Siverio.
Their opponents, Al-Seeb Club, are the defending Oman Professional League champions, having won the domestic title four times in the last six years. Al-Seeb also won the AFC Cup (now AFC Champions League Two) in 2022, making them the only Omani club to achieve this.
In India, live streaming of the match will be available on the Khel Now TV YouTube channel. There will be no live television broadcast on any Indian TV channel.
