The Golden State Warriors guard Jimmy Butler is questionable for Game 3 of their playoff series against the Houston Rockets on Saturday due to an injury.
Butler sustained the injury during Game 2 on Wednesday when he took a hard fall while attempting a rebound, landing on his tailbone late in the first quarter.
An MRI performed on Thursday revealed Butler has a "pelvis and deep gluteal muscle contusion," leading to his official questionable status for Game 3.
Following the Rockets' 109-94 victory in Game 2, which tied the series at 1-1, the series moves to San Francisco for Games 3 and 4.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr, after Wednesday's game, declined to speculate on who would replace Butler in the lineup if he couldn't play in Game 3, but acknowledged, "If Jimmy's out, we have to rethink everything."
