Khorfakkan Paralympic Team wins match 2 at West Asian Basketball

The wheelchair basketball tournament is organized by Jordan's Ajyal Al Ghad Sports Club in partnership with the Jordanian Paralympic Committee and the Asian Paralympic Committee. Teams from the UAE, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman are participating.

Khorfakkan Club started its tournament campaign strongly, defeating the Omani team 65-43 in its opening match on Monday.

Khorfakkan is scheduled to play against Bahrain's Al Ittihad on Wednesday in the third round of the preliminary stage, aiming to advance to the next round. Abdullah Saleh Al Naqbi, Chairman of Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled, expressed pride in the team's performance and their previous success, including winning the General Wheelchair Basketball League title for the fourth consecutive year. He expressed hope for continued success in their upcoming match.
