London City Lionesses announced the departure of midfielder Shen through a post on their official club website.
Shen joined the club last summer after leaving Celtic, bringing a strong record from her successful spell in Scotland, where she won the SWPL 1 title, the Scottish Women’s Premier League Cup, and two Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cups.
During her time with London City Lionesses, Shen made 14 appearances and scored one goal, contributing significantly to the team's victory in the Barclays WSL2 title and securing their first-ever promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League.
As the club prepares for its debut season in the top flight, it has been confirmed that Shen will not remain with London City Lionesses and will instead move on to a new challenge for the 2025/2026 season.
Shen is the 12th player to leave the club this summer, with London City Lionesses actively making squad adjustments to bolster their chances of survival in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
