Marcus Rashford makes Barcelona debut and Harry Kane lifts silverware in Germany

Marcus Rashford made his competitive debut for Barcelona as a 69th-minute substitute in their 3-0 LaLiga opening victory away at nine-man Mallorca. Rashford replaced Ferran Torres, with Raphinha and Torres scoring first-half goals. Mallorca had Manu Morlanes sent off for a second yellow card, and Vedat Muriqi's yellow was upgraded to red via VAR before half-time. Raphinha and Dani Olmo hit the woodwork, and Lamine Yamal added a third goal in stoppage time. Rashford described the win as the "best way to start" on Instagram.

Elsewhere in Spain, Alaves secured a 2-1 win at Levante thanks to Nahuel Tenaglia's stoppage-time winner, while Valencia drew 1-1 at home with Real Sociedad.

In Germany, Harry Kane and Luis Diaz both scored as Bayern Munich won the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup 2-1 against Stuttgart. Kane opened the scoring in the 18th minute, his seventh goal in five games against Stuttgart. Diaz, making his debut, headed home in the 77th minute from Serge Gnabry's cross. Jamie Leweling's late header was a consolation for Stuttgart.

In France's Ligue 1, Eric Dier scored on his Monaco debut in their 3-1 home win over Le Havre. Dier headed home in the 61st minute after Gautier Lloris' own goal had given Le Havre a half-time lead.
