PBA Finals: Jordan Heading ready to keep steping up for TNT

TNT guard Jordan Heading views his role in the upcoming PBA Philippine Cup Finals as a responsibility rather than pressure, stepping up to fill the void left by the absence of two previous Finals MVPs, Jayson Castro and Rey Nambatac. He acknowledges the need to be a creator for the team with both players injured.

The Tropang Giga enter their third consecutive Finals appearance missing key personnel. Jayson Castro, the Governors' Cup Finals MVP, is out for the season with a patellar tendon injury. Rey Nambatac, who stepped up to win the Commissioner's Cup Finals MVP after Castro's injury, is also sidelined for the Philippine Cup Finals due to a groin injury suffered early in the conference.

Heading, a star guard previously with Converge, was traded to TNT in May. He naturally fits the role of a primary playmaker for the finals, as he plays the same guard position that Castro and Nambatac occupied when they earned their Finals MVP honors.
