PBA: How did Rain or Shine land Stanley Pringle?

Stanley Pringle has joined the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, with the team hoping his addition will help them advance to the Finals in PBA Season 50 after reaching the semifinals four consecutive times. The move occurred during the offseason, with Pringle's camp initiating discussions with the team.

Head coach Yeng Guiao confirmed that Pringle's agent approached Rain or Shine, and the team eagerly accepted the opportunity to sign him. Guiao expressed strong interest in Pringle, noting that negotiations proceeded smoothly and without difficulty. Pringle has already begun practicing with the team.

Despite being 38 years old, Pringle brings significant experience and accolades, including four championships with Ginebra and a Best Player of the Conference award. His previous experience playing under Guiao during the 2018 Asian Games with Gilas Pilipinas also contributed to the seamless fit.

In the previous conference, Pringle averaged 13.18 points, 3.82 rebounds, 2.82 assists, and 1.09 steals, demonstrating his capability to contribute effectively on the court.
