Red Warriors flaunt retro-styled jerseys inspired by 1980s UE, Allan Caidic in UAAP Season 88

The UE Red Warriors are wearing vintage-inspired jerseys for UAAP Season 88, featuring a typeface similar to the uniforms from the 1980s during Allan Caidic's era, including the team's last championship win in Season 48.

Despite losing their opening match against the NU Bulldogs, the Red Warriors aim to end a 16-year Final Four drought and hope the jerseys provide an added boost to return to winning ways.

UE veteran John Abate expressed pride in wearing the classic jerseys, noting they bring exposure to the community and symbolize the team's commitment to showing pride on and off the court.

Abate emphasized that the jerseys are not just about aesthetics; the team hopes to replicate past success by focusing on daily competition and small details like setting screens and foot movement, lessons reinforced after the season's first loss.
