Training update: Amad and Malacia return

Two Manchester United players, Amad and Tyrell Malacia, returned to first-team training on Wednesday in preparation for the upcoming Premier League match against Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.

Amad, the Ivorian winger, resumed training after a brief absence due to a family bereavement, which caused him to miss the previous weekend's 3-1 defeat to Brentford. He had been involved in the first six games of the season, starting five of them. Prior to the loss, Ruben Amorim explained that the club provided full support to Amad during this difficult time, emphasizing the importance of allowing him space. Now back, Amad is working hard to prepare for the game against Sunderland, his former club, as United aim to bounce back from their recent defeat.

Additionally, Tyrell Malacia rejoined the main training group. However, Nousair Mazraoui remains absent and is expected to be out until the October international break. In other team news, Casemiro is available for selection again after serving a one-game suspension due to a red card received in the 2-1 win over Chelsea, which caused him to miss the Brentford clash.
