Colin Cowherd has reacted to The Athletic's NFL front office rankings, which place the Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles, and Kansas City Chiefs at the top. Despite the Eagles being one of only two unbeaten teams entering Week 5, star receiver A.J. Brown has recorded just one touchdown reception in the first four games of the season, leading to apparent frustration over his limited offensive role.
Brown's dissatisfaction became more evident after the Eagles' Week 4 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he finished with only two catches for seven receiving yards. He later shared a cryptic message on social media, stating, "If you’re not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw. Don’t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way," hinting at his discontent with the situation.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce criticized Brown's approach to expressing his frustration during the "New Heights" podcast, remarking, "You’re 4-0, boss. Come on, man," suggesting that Brown should focus on the team's success rather than personal grievances.
In response, Jason Kelce, co-host of the podcast and a former Eagles offensive lineman, defended Brown, arguing that it is understandable for a player of Brown's caliber to be upset about underutilization and that he should feel comfortable voicing his concerns directly to the team. However, Jason conceded that there might be better ways to handle the situation than posting on social media, to which Travis Kelce replied, "To each his own."
