In a high-scoring South East Counties Women’s Football League Premier Division match, Cray Wanderers Women secured an 8-3 victory over Tunbridge Wells Foresters Ladies at Flamingo Park on Sunday, 12th October 2025. Cray, aiming to protect their unbeaten league record after a recent draw, faced Foresters, who were joint top with a perfect start to the season.
The first half began with Cray taking an early lead in the 9th minute as Sarah White lobbed the goalkeeper from 25 yards. They doubled their advantage in the 16th minute when Chloe Obando scored from a one-on-one opportunity, but Foresters quickly responded a minute later with a goal from Kelly Moran. After a period of balanced play, Cray extended their lead to 3-1 in the 35th minute with White's second goal, only for Moran to score again for Foresters just before half-time, making it 3-2 at the break.
Cray dominated the second half with a rapid succession of goals, starting in the 50th minute when Obando scored from a rebound after Maddie Bone's shot hit the crossbar. This was followed by goals from Rivers in the 53rd minute and Millie Main in the 57th minute, extending Cray's lead. Foresters managed a consolation goal from von Wedel Tuckley in the 65th minute, but Cray sealed the win with late strikes from Humphreys in the 84th minute and Jackson in the 90th minute, resulting in a decisive 8-3 final score.
