Juventus midfielder Kenan Yildiz has chosen to remain with the Italian club despite significant interest from European giants Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Both clubs had been actively monitoring the 19-year-old Turkish international, according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Yildiz recently extended his contract with Juventus until 2029 and has solidified his position in the starting lineup since coach Igor Tudor's arrival, where he now wears the iconic number 10 jersey. In recognition of his increased importance, Juventus is preparing an improved contract offer that would raise his annual salary to €2 million, with total earnings potentially reaching €3 million including bonuses.
The young midfielder demonstrated his talent during the FIFA Club World Cup, contributing three goals and one assist across four matches. Juventus was eliminated in the round of 16 following a 1-0 defeat to Real Madrid, a match that also featured fellow Turkish player Arda Güler.
