FC Dallas transfer Leó Chú to Portugal's FC Alverca

FC Dallas announced on Saturday that they have transferred forward Leó Chú to Portuguese top-flight club FC Alverca.

The 25-year-old Brazilian forward spent half a season with Dallas after being acquired in January, as part of a trade that sent Jesús Ferreira to Seattle Sounders FC. Chú made four appearances for Dallas, scoring one goal, and previously joined Seattle in August 2021 from Brazilian club Grêmio, completing four total seasons in MLS.

FC Alverca, the receiving club, recently earned promotion to Liga Portugal and is co-owned by Real Madrid and Brazil superstar Vinicius Junior.
